Dr. Illah Nourbakhsh, the current head of the Robotics Masters Program and director of the CREATE lab at The Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University is joining the Advisory Board of RoboDynamics Corporation. Dr. Nourbakhsh brings an impressive wealth of academic, technical and entrepreneurial experience from a distinguished career spent in robotics.

Dr. Nourbakhsh has a long and distinguished career in the robotics field. Prior to his current position, Dr. Nourbakhsh served as Robotics Group Lead at NASA/Ames Research Center, is the co-founder of Toy Robots Initiative, director of Center for Innovative Robotics, and the director of the CREATE lab at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. He has been a PI on several projects including Gigapan and Robot 250, a NSF-funded initiative. Aside from numerous publications and authoring text books in the field of robotics, Illah has also co-founded and/or held executive positions at several technology startup companies, most recently at Blue Pumpkin Software. Dr. Nourbakhsh has a PhD from Stanford University in Computer Science.
