Today at Convergence 2009, Fullscope, Inc., a Gold Certified Microsoft Business Solutions Partner, and Lead Time Technology announced a partnership to offer advanced planning and scheduling (APS) tools to process manufacturers including food and beverage, non-durable consumer packaged goods, chemicals and pharmaceutical/life sciences companies. The industry-specific APS functionality complements Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, developed by Fullscope as part of the Microsoft Dynamics Industry Solutions program and sold by Microsoft certified resellers worldwide.

"Our customers tell our story best," said Mike Bonelli, president, Lead Time Technology. "For example, for chemicals companies we've helped reduce intermediate inventory by 50 percent; extend planning views from two-three weeks to six-nine months; and reduce inventories from 130 to 90 days. Lead Time Technology has saved small to large clients from $3-100M in first year inventory and cost reductions with a particular focus on the process manufacturing and distribution industry."

"As part of our Process Industries Ecosystem strategy that identifies a holistic supply chain footprint and suitable partners, we needed a strong APS solution specific to the needs of process manufacturers," said John Scandar, executive vice president and co-founder of Fullscope. "Lead Time Technology has the proven tools, customers and results for this critical area of supply chain control."

Under the terms of the partnership, Lead Time Technology's solutions will be made available to authorized Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX resellers to address specific planning challenges presented by certain types of manufacturers. In addition to APS, Lead Time Technology provides tools for dynamic daily forecasting, inventory leveling and optimization, production and distribution scheduling.
