Partner Program to Add Process-specific Functionality for Improved Visibility and Operational Performance; First Three Partners Announced

Today at Convergence 2009, Fullscope, Inc., a Gold Certified Microsoft Business Solutions Partner, announced its latest strategy to extend industry-specific technology offerings to process manufacturers including food and beverage, non-durable consumer packaged goods, chemicals and pharmaceutical/life sciences companies. The company's new Process Industries Ecosystem defines supply chain technology areas and recommends partners to complement existing manufacturing, distribution and quality management functionality in Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, developed by Fullscope as part of the Microsoft Dynamics Industry Solutions program. Lead Time Technology, Hofinsoft Technologies and Atrion International, Inc., are the first three process ecosystem partners.

"Process manufacturers have specific operational requirements that expand past core ERP functionality, and vary greatly depending on the industry, such as food and beverage versus pharmaceuticals," said John Scandar, executive vice president and co-founder of Fullscope. "The Process Industries Ecosystem includes supply- and demand-centric considerations and defines the ideal holistic technology environment for these manufacturers by addressing more than traditional Microsoft core ERP functionality. We selected partners that have a strong track record of providing value to process companies, and each of their respective solutions represent vital areas for performance improvement and compliance."

The first three areas of extended functionality/partners for process companies are:

  • Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS)/Lead Time Technology--Lead Time Technology offers APS and other decision support tools to profitably manage planning, scheduling, and inventory optimization at all production and distribution locations.
  • Plant Maintenance/Hofinsoft Technologies--Hofinsoft Technologies offers plant maintenance solutions for process companies that require continuous monitoring of assets, equipments, machinery and tools, fleets and facilities for higher performance and uptime.
  • Product Compliance/MSDS & Regulatory/Atrion International--A long-time Fullscope partner, Atrion International Inc., delivers reliable, product compliance solutions for formula-based process manufacturers. By integrating the most comprehensive set of managed regulatory content (data, rules, languages, forms, expert services) into a highly automated solution, Atrion ensures that products will reach their intended customers with minimal risks to brand image and shareholder value.

Fullscope plans to make additional process ecosystem partner announcements over the next ninety days.
