Pernod Ricard Pacific Goes Live with SolveIT Software's System for Vintage Intake Planning

One of the world's largest conglomerates standardizes on SolveIT's software

The deployed system has replaced Pernod Ricard Pacific's existing Excel-based tool for managing vintage intake, and is used to plan, coordinate, and schedule grape harvest and transport across wineries in Australia and New Zealand. The planning system uses information on predicted harvest dates, processing wineries, and carriers within each region to create optimised plans that are used by staff to assist in bookings constrained resources such as winery slots, harvesters, and carriers. Users can also export the planning data so that it can be accessed by growers through a web portal.

This implementation follows a successful deployment of SolveIT Software's Tank Farm Optimiser in 2007, which is used by Pernod Ricard Pacific to plan, schedule, and optimise the wine production process across more than 1000 tanks to minimise losses and optimise wine blend quality.
