This provides us with a wonderful opportunity to expand upon our already significant presence in the project management areas, while partnering with a global leader in professional training
Hoboken, New Jersey, (PRWEB) March 10, 2009 -
John Wiley & Sons, Inc., announced today a new partnership with International Institute for Learning Inc., (IIL), to publish books for the Project Management market that also supplement IIL course offerings. The new series of books will produce best practice insights for project managers and those responsible for sponsoring and supporting projects, including executives, in the global marketplace in which both Wiley and IIL play critical roles. The first books in the series are expected to publish in the fall of 2009.
E. LaVerne Johnson, Founder, President, and CEO of IIL, said, "We are delighted to collaborate with Wiley in bringing IIL's knowledge and expertise to the publishing marketplace in a new and exciting co-branded series. This collaboration makes the most of IIL's deep understanding of the field of project management, and Wiley's long track record in publishing for this discipline." She added, "We are confident that this new book series will be the perfect companion to our roster of learning solutions, delivering profound insight from some of the best-known and respected authorities in the field. The partnership between IIL and Wiley will enable even more professionals to discover the essential tools for improving effectiveness and increasing collective capabilities."
The series is expected to generate four to six books a year on topics such as, Project, Program, and Portfolio Management, Lean Six Sigma, Business Analysis, and Business Strategy. The first series of breakthrough books will be written by best-selling project management expert authors, Harold Kerzner and Frank P. Saladis, PMP. Titles include: Value-Driven Project Management, What Executives Need to Know about Project Management, and What Functional Managers Need to Know about Project Management. The books are a strong strategic fit with Wiley's successful list of titles on project management in global corporations.
