Xenocode, a leader in application virtualization and delivery technology, today announced the delivery of the latest version of its application virtualization technology to Novell. The recently announced Novell ZENworks Application Virtualization 7 leverages the latest Xenocode virtualization technology to help customers and managed service providers reduce the cost of testing, packaging and configuring virtual applications, and directly integrates with Novell ZENworks Configuration Management.

Built on the latest Xenocode virtualization technology, ZENworks Application Virtualization 7 allows Windows administrators and managed service providers to quickly package applications into secure, standalone executables that can be distributed and run on any Windows Vista, Windows XP or Windows 2000 workstation without a traditional install. With this latest release, customers can quickly publish virtual applications to their ZENworks Configuration Management zone without ever leaving the packaging tool. ZENworks Application Virtualization allows customers to restrict virtual applications from running on devices not registered with their ZENworks Configuration Management zone and convert legacy applications into virtual applications, eliminating compatibility issues.
