New York, NY (PRWEB) March 11, 2009 -- Peer39, the world leader in semantic advertising solutions, announced today that Amiad Solomon, Founder and CEO of Peer39, has been elected to serve on the Software & Information Industry Association's (SIIA) Content Division Board.

Mr. Solomon takes his place as a Content Division board member for 2009-2010, during which he will serve a two-year term. Board members are drawn from leading media, technology, and publishing companies, creating a highly influential organization that addresses vital industry developments and assists member companies.

"My experience at Peer39 has provided me unique insights that I hope will make an important contribution to the SIIA", said Mr. Solomon. "I have the privilege of working with some of the top minds in the business at Peer39. Our technology, staff and clients are transforming the industry, especially in the areas of online advertising, semantic applications, and web monetization. I plan to share that knowledge with my colleagues on the Content Division Board."

"I don't use the expression 'game changing' very often but Peer39's SemanticMatch™ technology looks like it has the potential to be just that," said Ed Keating, SIIA Vice President, Content Division. "On behalf of the SIIA, I'd like to welcome Peer39 as members and Amiad to the Content Division board. Peer39 has much to contribute to the membership and I look forward to working with them in the coming years."

The SIIA's Content Division advises industry participants, conducts research, facilitates rights management, and acts as an industry advocate through a government affairs branch. The Content Division is one of several branches of the SIIA, a major software and digital content trade association. The SIIA works in diverse areas such as government relations, business development, corporate knowledge, and intellectual property rights for leading global companies.
