nowHIRE.com announced it has successfully implemented its Elite Business Edition applicant tracking system for City Line Distributors. With the implementation of nowHIRE’s ATS, City Line has fully automated the hiring and onboarding process.

City Line has saved thousands of dollars annually in hard and soft costs since implementation of the nowHIRE system. Founded in 1930, City Line is New England’s number one independent full-service food distributor. The company processes approximately 2,500 employment applications per year.

Prior to nowHIRE, City Line used a paper-based application process. Each applicant provided differing information, which made the process inconsistent. Additionally, storing paper applications and resumes created a space problem. nowHIRE’s ATS streamlines and standardizes the hiring process by allowing applicants to complete an application online or through the use of a kiosk set up in City Line’s lobby.
