Artfact, the largest global marketplace of fine and decorative arts, antiques, collectibles and estate auctions, announces the redesign of Artfact.com and its sister site in the UK, Invaluable.com.

Artfact has launched a new look for Artfact.com and its sister site in the UK, Invaluable.com. The newly designed site pairs Artfact's suite of powerful online services with a bold, user-friendly interface. The largest global marketplace of fine and decorative arts, antiques, collectibles and estate auctions, Artfact offers live online bidding at premier auctions around the world through its Artfact Live! and Invaluable Live! platforms.

The new site provides a streamlined and intuitive experience that allows users to easily manage their Artfact activity through the new 'My Artfact' console, available on every page. The redesigned homepage features highlights of upcoming auctions, showcases items recently sold through the Artfact Live! and Invaluable Live! platforms, and enables visitors to watch and experience the thrill of a live auction. Artfact Live! bidders will find the process of participating in live auctions to be even easier and more exciting than ever before, while long-time users will continue to appreciate the site's classic features, including its database of over 50 million auction results and 500,000+ artists, advanced search functionality, and customizable auction alerts.

The re-launch comes just two months after eBay Live Auctions ceased live bidding operations. Since eBay's departure, Artfact Live! has taken the lead in the live auction arena by partnering with the world's most prestigious auction houses to host live online auctions. Artfact's ever-expanding list of exclusive auction house partners includes Doyle New York, Swann Galleries, I.M. Chait of Beverly Hills, Koller Auctions (Zurich), Lyon & Turnbull (Scotland), Gorringes (UK), Ritchie's Auctioneers (Canada), and Mallet Japan, to name a few.

"Our goal is to optimize the experience of Artfact.com and Invaluable.com users by offering an all-inclusive portal to find, research and bid on live auctions," comments Doug Ellinger, Artfact's VP of Marketing. "The redesign of the two sites is an important step in making this happen and so far the response has been very positive."

Feedback from Artfact's partners has been resoundingly positive:

  • I.M. Chait declares, "We had been so tremendously worried about losing e-Bay Live... then, 'lo and behold' it all worked. We much prefer Artfact Live!..."
  • Castners Auctions raves, "I just can't believe how good this system is. "
  • Vicky Weall of Vectis Auctions Ltd. in the UK, agrees, "We found using the Artfact system extremely user friendly and we are very happy with it."
