Paramount Equity Mortgage wins Stars of Broadcast Award
Paramount Equity Mortgage, a leader in the mortgage industry, was recognized recently by the Oregon Association of Broadcasters with the 2008 Stars of Broadcast Award.
Portland, Oregon-- Paramount Equity Mortgage (www.paramountequity.com), a leader in the mortgage industry, was recognized recently by the Oregon Association of Broadcasters with the 2008 Stars of Broadcast Award.
On hand to receive the prestigious award was Owner and President of Paramount Equity Mortgage, Hayes Barnard. "Over the past three years, we have had the pleasure of helping over 2400 homeowners in the Portland area. It has been so gratifying to watch our business grow within such an incredible community," said Barnard. Many people from the Oregon broadcasting community were in attendance to show their appreciation and support of Barnard, including Jack Hutchison of Entercom Radio, Portland. "The members of the Oregon Association of Broadcasters were proud to present this award to Hayes, not only for his investment with many of our state members, but for his company's contributions to our local economy," said Hutchison.
The criteria for the prestigious "Stars of Broadcast" Award require that the recipient have purchased commercial Radio and/or Television ad time on a continuing basis in Oregon during the past year; and displayed through promotions, contributions, and community involvement that they are "sound" citizens of their community. "To be honored by the Oregon Association of Broadcasters is a tribute to the close collaboration between our company, our media partners, and the customers we serve" said Barnard.
The Oregon Association of Broadcasters is a member-supported trade association that has been representing the interests of commercial Radio and Television broadcasters in Oregon since 1940. The mission of the Oregon Association of Broadcasters is to promote, enhance, strengthen and defend the broadcast industry. The OAB organizes programs and activities designed to encourage and promote sound broadcast customs and practices. The OAB serves as a clearinghouse to answer all public and member's questions about the broadcast industry. The OAB is the statewide organization dedicated to building Oregon citizens' perception of radio and television broadcasters.
