The Center for Workforce Development at Columbus State Community College to Feature Leading Employee Engagement Expert

A free talent management luncheon at the Center for Workforce Development at Columbus State Community College on March 24, 2009 will feature Marc Drizin, a nationally-recognized expert on employee engagement. Drizin's presentation will include his popular Employee Hold'em™ card game, which has helped prepare more than 13,000 managers, executives and HR professionals to better recruit, retrain, reward, and retain top talent and achieve bottom-line results.

Columbus, OH (PRWEB) March 12, 2009 -- National workforce research reveals that 57 percent of Ohio employees are reluctant to work hard at their jobs, and reluctant to leave those jobs. Employee engagement expert Marc Drizin will address how the unengaged employee threatens organizations at a luncheon on March 24th at The Center for Workforce Development at Columbus State Community College. The luncheon is sponsored by the Center for Workforce Development and the Circle of Business.

Drizin's presentation will include his popular and interactive Employee Hold'em™ card game, which has helped prepare more than 13,000 managers, executives and HR professionals to better recruit, retrain, reward, and retain top talent and achieve bottom-line results.

Drizin's national workforce engagement research has revealed that only forty-three percent of Ohio's workforce is fully engaged and willing to stay with their employer longer, work harder for customers, and recommend the organization as a great place to work. Attendees will learn about the talent strategies that can help their organizations stimulate employee engagement and achieve the customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention required for overall business success.

The talent management luncheon will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. To register for the event, visit www.employeeholdem.eventbrite.com or call (614) 287-2434. There is no charge to attend, but spaces are limited.
