Seasoned Expert Explores Cost Containment, Consolidation and Virtualization of the Modern Messaging Infrastructure at Industry Event

Emeryville, Calif. -- Sendmail, Inc. (http://www.sendmail.com/), the leading provider of reliable and secure email and messaging infrastructures, today announced that David Maislin, senior director of technical services and strategy, will present at the Wall Street Technology Association Seminar, "Modernizing the Data Center: Green and Other Considerations," on March 19, 2009 at the Westin New York at Times Square.

Co-sponsored by Sendmail, the seminar will examine green IT benefits and introduce today's infrastructure modernization techniques, highlighting how to manage the data center footprint, risk and incremental business demands quickly and cost-effectively.

At the half-day industry event in New York, Maislin will deliver a presentation on "Cost Containment, Consolidation and Virtualization of the Modern Messaging Infrastructure." The presentation will address the challenges information technology executives face from managing resources and technology in a tough economic climate, such as shrinking budgets, fewer staff and aging equipment. Along with identifying this underlying problem, Maislin will provide guidance on how enterprises can simplify and modernize their messaging infrastructures to increase efficiencies and reduce operational costs with significant return-on-investment.
