After years of providing free link listing service for antique and vintage-related web sites, CollectibleDetective.com now also offers paid banner advertising for businesses seeking prime page placement and increased visibility. Ad rates begin at just $45 dollars month, while three winners will pay nothing at all to enjoy 30 days --more than 50,000 ad impressions -- of free advertising on the web's most comprehensive antique directory. To enter, site owners need to send an email including a link to their web site to "ads" at "collectibledetective.com" and put "contest" in the subject line. Entry deadline is midnight, Friday March 27, 2009. Three entrants will be randomly selected and notified by email the following week. Advertising guidelines and policies can be found on the Advertising page at CollectibleDetective.com.

In keeping with Collectible Detective's commitment to the collector community, the free banner ad giveaway is limited to vintage and antique-related businesses. Shops, repair and restoration services, event promoters, specialty book authors, auction and estate services, online antique malls, community sites, antique blogs, and collectible storage and display businesses are all encouraged to enter the contest. Every qualifying entrant will have a link to their site added to the directory if it is not already included.

Since its launch in October of 2006, CollectibleDetective.com has grown into the largest directory of its kind, with links to over 6,500 antique information resources. Visitors can instantly find links where they can buy, sell, appraise, identify, and research items across all categories of vintage and antique collectibles.
