Appistry, a provider of cloud application platform software, today announced that Roshan Sequeira, a company Senior Consultant, will speak at CommunityOne East, a Sun Microsystems Developer Network Conference, held Mar. 18-19 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, New York, NY. Sequeira's session, entitled, "Cloud Computing for Enterprise Software Developers," will occur on Mar. 18 from 11:10 - noon in Breakout Three and will cover current cloud platform offerings and show how easy it is to develop a cloud-enabled Java application.

In his position at Appistry, Sequeira is currently focused on helping organizations cloud-enable their applications in-house or on external cloud infrastructures using Appistry's flag-ship product, CloudIQ Platform. Roshan has been developing enterprise applications since 1998 . During this time, Roshan has built business applications for customers spanning a diverse set of industries including healthcare, agriculture, transportation & supply chain, telecommunications, and real-estate. Roshan holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. His interests include learning and programming with open-source technologies, OSGi, and Aspect-Oriented Programming.
