In this turbulent economy, everyone is understandably anxious about what the future holds for them and what steps they should take to position themselves going forward
Concord, MA (PRWEB) March 14, 2009
Caroline Coderre, a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner with The Darrow Company, Inc. (http://www.darrowwealthmanagement.com) of Concord, MA, volunteered her time and expertise to serve as a Money Mentor at the recent Money Conference for State Employees at Framingham State College.
The Money Conferences are free conferences presented by Massachusetts State Treasurer Timothy P. Cahill, and focus on money management, retirement and investment strategies for people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of financial knowledge. Money Mentors provide guidance and answer questions for individual attendees of the conferences.
"In this turbulent economy, everyone is understandably anxious about what the future holds for them and what steps they should take to position themselves going forward," says Coderre, who has been a wealth advisor since 2000. "By serving as a Money Mentor, I hope to alleviate at least some of that anxiety for someone who might be paralyzed into inaction."
Thomas McFarland, President of The Darrow Company, concurs. "The credit crisis and economic downturn have impacted everyone, in all walks of life," he says. "The Money Conferences are a great way for people to get information they need about managing their finances, and we encourage our staff to volunteer their expertise."
