5th Annual La Femme International Film Festival Opens Call For Entries For 2009 Festival

LA Femme Film Festival's Founder Leslie LaPage announced today that the 2009 festival kicks off its call for entries today March 16th. The festival will run from October 15th-18th, 2009 and include independent features, shorts, music videos, commercials, special screenings and seminars. The four day event will be held at the: Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills at 8556 Wilshire Blvd. and the Wilshire Screening Room at 8670 Wilshire Blvd.

The four day event will be held at the: Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills at 8556 Wilshire Blvd. and the Wilshire Screening Room at 8670 Wilshire Blvd. LA Femme is dedicated to celebrating and empowering the female working in entertainment world wide. The festival showcases works from artists to audiences and entertainment professionals who have created works in features, shorts, documentaries, screenplays, commercials, and music videos. The Festival assists in securing distribution for those screening in the festival. The festival has successfully had 80% of the features and documentary winners achieve successful distribution "a percentage very few festivals can boast" Ms LaPage sates. The festival includes screenings, seminars, networking events, an awards ceremony honoring "A List "Celebrities and gala networking parties.
