Development Dialogues presents its spring conference "Prospect Research for Health Care: A Prescription for Success" that will be held at the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport, just outside Washington D.C. on April 22-24, 2009.
This three day workshop is for researchers and fundraising professionals. The seminar is designed to take the guess work out of identifying top donor prospects and targeting fundraising goals for your health care institution. Seminar participants will learn the prospect development process and how to use the latest research tools and techniques for their organization's success. The session will include a special emphasis on data mining, building a prospect pool, data analysis, prospect screening and many other important issues facing healthcare organizations and other nonprofits.
The faculty includes four prominent national experts:
- David Lawson, Co-founder of WorkingPhilanthropy.com and one of the nation's foremost authorities on prospect research.
- Joshua Birkholz, today's leading expert in fundraising analytics. A partner at Bentz Whaley Flessner, he is author of the book "Fundraising Analytics."
- Elizabeth McHugh, a consultant and former Vice President for Prospect Research at Scottsdale Health Care Foundation. She is a frequent speaker at APRA and other national meetings.
- Sarah Choi Dunn, Senior Research Specialist at Baptist Health Foundation in Jacksonville, Florida and a frequent speaker at prospect research workshops.
