Daytona Beach, Florida. The Fifth District Court of Appeals, Case # 5D07-3355, affirmed the judgment of an Orlando court in favor of Sheik Ahmed Banafa for $22,475,200. At trial, an Orlando jury found the Defendants Nasir Ashemimry, Ashetrust Investment Corp., Orlando Investments, Ltd. and Sterling Hotels, Ltd., liable for fraud and civil theft in connection with a hotel investment scam.
