CableFAX Program Awards: Benchmarking Excellence in Cable--Call for Entries
CableFAX announces call for entries in annual competition recognizing Cable's top shows, people and entertainment icons, as well as HD content, mobile and online programs
Rockville, MD (PRWEB) March 18, 2009 -- CableFAX Daily and CableFAX: The Magazine are accepting entries for the 2009 CableFAX Program Awards. This judged competition sets the benchmark for excellence in cable content and is open to all cable networks and MSO's worldwide. Additionally, Marketing, PR, publicity firms and other show partners are eligible to compete on behalf of their cable clients. The entry deadline is May 1, 2009.
Many awards will be bestowed in several categories including The Best Cable Show or Series, The Best Actor/Actress/ Host, Platinum/People categories as well as Special categories and Tech categories. Over 20 genres of cable content will comprise some subcategories of the competition.
Entries are judged by Cable industry executives, as well as by the staff of CableFAX Daily and CableFAX: The Magazine. Judging is evaluated based on certain criteria including quality of show, viewership success, and creativity of programming. In the case of the "people" awards, entries are evaluated based on outstanding acting, directing, producing and writing.
The winners and honorable mentions will receive their crystal CableFAX Program Award during a special luncheon on September 16, 2009 in New York City. Other winner recognition will include outstanding exposure through profiles in the CableFAX Program Awards issue of CableFAX: The Magazine, and exposure through email promotions, press releases, coverage on CableFAXProgramAwards.com and CableFAX.com.
