Jupiter, FL (PRWEB) March 16, 2009
Four-time Grammy Award winner and former Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations Environmental Program Olivia Newton-John will join her new husband, "Amazon John" Easterling, owner and founder of the Amazon Herb Company during a 10-city tour to promote the health benefits associated with the preservation of the Rainforest, as well as their support as members of the Board of Directors of the Amazon Center for Environmental Education and Research (ACEER.org) - an organization dedicated to bringing teachers and environmental educational materials to the children in Rainforest villages.
During the tour, the newlyweds will introduce ZAMU, a revolutionary organic Rainforest blend of ingredients that have been scientifically recognized for their beneficial health properties - among them, Camu Camu, the most concentrated source of naturally occurring vitamin C in the world and often called the "Feel Good Fruit." Vitamin C, a potent antioxidant that prevents the premature aging of cells has been proven to support a strong immune system and cardiovascular health. Further research shows that Vitamin C is involved in maintaining proper levels of serotonin - a mood-balancing chemical in the brain that is associated with a sense of well-being and happiness.
During the "ZAMU ON TOUR" appearances, the couple will discuss the powerful vision of the true treasures of the Amazon Rainforest and the benefits it provides as the solution for better health and Rainforest sustainability. The Rainforest, a dynamic ecosystem with abundant rainfall, intense sunlight an over 215,000 flourishing tropical plants growing in the richest soil on earth produces enough oxygen to be called the "lungs of our planet," and enough medicinal herbs to provide a living pharmacy to the entire world. ZAMU allows you to feel the synergy and life force of the Rainforest, flooding your body with life-enhancing nutrients that support a positive life experience.
"Amazon John" Easterling is a successful eco-entrepreneur and visionary leader who founded the Amazon Herb Company in 1990, holds a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina and has spent many years searching the Amazon Rainforest for treasures and ancient artifacts. During his years of exploration in the Rainforest, he was introduced to the traditional use of medicinal plants. After a health crisis and life-changing experience using these botanicals, a simple truth became clear: the real treasure of the Rainforest is, in fact, the life-enhancing properties of the Rainforest plants. He shares a powerful vision of using eco-commerce as the solution for better health, Rainforest sustainability and wealth generation. John and his company recently received national recognition in Jean Michel Cousteau's PBS documentary, Return To The Amazon.
Four-time Grammy Award-winner singer, songwriter and actress Olivia Newton-John Easterling is an environmental advocate and former Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations Environmental Program. She has long been a supporter of the Rainforest and believes that human health and healing is intricately linked to the health and well-being of our planet. Newton-John married Easterling during two secret ceremonies (one in Peru and one in Florida) in June 2008.
