Your Premier Online Source for all your Funeral and Memorial needs

One of the most competitive websites in the on-line memorial products business has a new web address and name. The Corpus Christi, Texas based Prestige Memorials company has changed its name to Memorials.com and the products can now be found at the easy-to-remember address: http://www.memorials.com .

"We've still got the same large selection of Memorials in fact our selection grows nearly every week -- and the same commitment to high quality customer service. It's just our name that has changed," owner Ralf Heckenbach said. All visitors to the old address are now automatically redirected to Memorials.com.

The company, which bills itself as "Your Premier Online Source for all your Funeral and Memorial needs," has been in business for many years and the owner Ralf Heckenbach has been working in the memorial industry since 1999. The site offers memorials of all types, one of the largest selections of urns and pet urns, and among the most competitive on-line selection of grave markers.

The company's overall selection of just about every type of memorial product available is among the largest in the industry. Its complete line-up of thousands of cremation urns, for example, features keepsake urns, companion urns and individual sized urns made from all of the industry's common materials. The same can be said of almost all of its other memorial products as well. Memorial.com is home to as sophisticated and as diverse a selection as can be found on the internet.

The site is also home to a variety of very unique innovations in the memorial industry, including its own exclusive "Art in Ashes" in which an artist mixes a trace amount of cremation remains into paint that is used in a beautiful, museum quality piece of modern art. This innovation was featured in Newsweek Magazine article about new ideas in the memorial industry, and it is just one of the many relatively new products that are available via Memorials.com.

"We are very proud of our product line. We keep up with the latest trends, and we've even developed a few new ideas ourself. That energetic, creative part of our company will only become better in the coming months," Heckenbach said.

Aside from its selection of traditional memorial products, Memorials.com offers articles on everything from how to make sure you're getting the best prices on memorial products to understanding the myriad of new memorial choices that consumers may not always realize they have. And it's this feature that makes Memorials.com especially well-suited for its new name, Heckenbach said.

"We have invested a lot of money, time and energy to make our website a good hub of consumer information. Visitors who come to our site can buy urns, grave markers and caskets, yes, but, they can also find a lot of great information about how to choose the best memorial products and get the best deals. We will continue providing that information and improving our journalistic-like reporting of issues important to people looking for memorial goods and services," Heckenbach said. "That's just a responsibility that comes with having such an important, high-profile domain name in our industry. We took that responsibility before the switch to the new name, and we will continue to make that a priority with our new name."
