Culver City, CA (PRWEB) March 18, 2009 -- Xap Corporation introduces CollegeScope, a new online curriculum that helps inspire college students' persistence in postsecondary institutions and further President Barack Obama's mission for college completion. Institutions are finding significant value in this resource, which helps enhance retention and completion, along with building students' motivation and preparation. Initial schools using CollegeScope™ are experiencing higher year-to-year persistence rates at an average retention increase of 25%.

"In just a single generation, America has fallen from 2nd place to 11th place in the portion of students completing college. That is unfortunate, but it's by no means irreversible. With resolve and the right investments, we can retake the lead once more," said President Obama in a speech last week at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

"Education is most beneficial when students are able to complete their academic goals and move on to accomplish their dreams," said Dr. Marsha Fralick, CollegeScope's author. Fralick developed core elements of the curriculum, which combines a comprehensive and academically-rigorous student success program with nationally-recognized personality and learning style assessments. "I've seen first hand the proven track record at Cuyamaca Community College where persistence rates increased to 89% for those completing the course."

"We are answering the President's call by assisting in postsecondary institutions' core mission that includes helping students graduate and be prepared for life after school," said J. Michael Thompson, Xap's CEO. "From my years of experience running enrollment management programs before I came to Xap, I have seen the great value gained in helping more students reach farther and find success in and out of school."

CollegeScope Student Success Program is a product of Human eSources.
