We're also going to be writing about the benefits of organic clothing, the different types of eco-friendly wood in baby furniture and other issues that are relevant to our site.

These days, environmental changes have caused children to start experiencing skin irritations and conditions early. As a result, many parents are searching specifically for organic baby clothes and eco-friendly baby products, the kind that have not been chemically treated with the elements that cause skin problems among children. A website that has such products is the North Carolina-based http://www.UniqueBabysBoutique.com.
"We were looking to fill the void of organic, eco-friendly and unique baby items," said Heidi Kohl.
Kohl, along with her husband Jeff, operates Unique Baby's Boutique, which began in January of 2009. "As a parent four times over, I have lots of experience with babies and as a parent in today's culture, I feel like there are specialized products that people are looking for that aren't widely available.
From baby carriers to christening gowns, UniqueBabysBoutique.com has items that are typically difficult to find; and though the site is still relatively new, the Kohls are continuing to add new items to their web store.
"We've just added the Binky Buddy, which helps the pacifier from falling away," explained Kohl. "And we're always trying to add unique and organic bedding and sheets and other natural baby products."
In addition to having an impressive catalog, the Kohls have also launched a new blog that coordinates with Unique Baby's Boutique's message.
"We're going to have several basic parenting tips," Kohl said of http://www.UniqueBabysBlog.com. "It's a good way to communicate with soon-to-be parents, as well as other parents who have ideas on helping babies sleep through the night or nursing tips.
"We're also going to be writing about the benefits of organic clothing, the different types of eco-friendly wood in baby furniture and other issues that are relevant to our site."
While Kohl has realistic goals for her site ("We're not trying to be a big box store. We're just offering products that are unique and safe," she said), the fact of the matter is that there are several containments in the way that products are being produced and manufactured today, there's a safe alternative out there that's just a URL away.
