In an effort to support small businesses and their growth, Concord, CA-based InvenTrak Retail Systems is offering an InvenTrak Small Business Stimulus Package in the month of April and a free webinar, "Small Retailers and the Down Economy: Turning Lemons into Lemonade" on March 26th, 2009 at 10:00 am PST. "InvenTrak is specially designed to serve small and medium-sized retailers, and as such strongly believes in assisting them through this economic crisis" says Donna Tang, Financial Analyst at InvenTrak. "By offering this stimulus package and webinar side-by-side, we hope to stimulate and empower small retailers by supplying them with valuable information and effective technology."

The InvenTrak Stimulus package is a special campaign aimed at boosting small retail businesses by providing 25 small and medium-sized merchants a full year on the InvenTrak system free of charge, which includes: point of sale software and hardware, complete use of InvenTrak's retail management system, technical support, and unlimited access to InvenTrak's Central Server. To take part in this opportunity, retailers must tell InvenTrak the story of their business.

"As consumer confidence drops in the down economy, retailers are being hit hard," says Eric Kirk, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at InvenTrak. "Sadly, many retailers don't understand the impact that the right retail technology can have on their business, while many small and medium businesses do not even view retail technology as a financial option. We hope that this package will help to boost small and medium sized merchants, while showing them the affordable retail technology that is, in fact, available to them."

InvenTrak is a web-based retail application that operates in what Tang calls the Retail Cloud, a term referring to cloud computing as it applies in the retail sector. As a Retail Cloud application, InvenTrak is able to offer merchants the cutting edge of retail technology, complete enterprise management, automatic updating, and remote access for a nominal monthly fee.

Businesses wishing to participate in the stimulus package must submit an email stating in 500 words or less the story of their business and why they believe InvenTrak will benefit their company.
