"The response to the product at the PGA Show was phenomenal," said Wayne Timberman, vice president of Laser Link Golf. "The CartLink really is a great way for a club to not only add a new amenity, but also increase its revenue. It truly will pay for itself in a very short period of time."

So far, the golf industry is seeing CartLink as a perfect alternative to GPS. Many clubs have been looking for another choice because of the drawbacks of a typical GPS unit. Poor accuracy, high cost, and the inability to measure distances to the flagstick are all common shortcomings of both handheld and cart-mounted GPS. CartLink is affordable, accurate, and provides precise distance to the flagstick, all in a small but powerful package.
