Discretix and CoreMedia to Demonstrate the World's First OMA DRM-Compliant Solution for Mobile Video Streaming

Based on the OMA DRM 2.1 standard, service providers can generate additional revenues by offering a premium content streaming service based on rental or subscription business models.

The solution, based on the CoreMedia DRM server and the Discretix DRM client, will be demonstrated first at the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) Enhanced Environment Test in Düsseldorf Germany and Beijing China. The end-to-end offering will deliver secure video streaming within an open ecosystem by using the OMA DRM 2.1 PDCF standardization allowing the freedom of choice for consumer devices.
