Nine celebrities, ranging from Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole to breakfast radio presenter Chris Moyles, have dominated headlines for the last fortnight as they completed a Kilimanjaro summit trek for Comic Relief. For members of the public looking to follow in their footsteps, a newly launched Kilimanjaro trek from award winning adventure holiday provider Mountain Kingdoms is just the opportunity they have been looking for.

Newly launched this year, the 'Summits of Kilimanjaro and Meru' trekking holiday from Mountain Kingdoms offers the chance reach the summit of Africa's highest peak. After an acclimatisation trek up nearby Mount Meru (4,562m), Mountain Kingdoms guides lead their clients up the Lemosho route favoured by the Comic Relief team on a six day trek to the top of Kilimanjaro (5,892m), culminating in an unforgettable sunrise from the summit out over the Tanzanian plains.
