Nonooba Launches GameRise Content Management System That Lets Anyone Build And Run Professional Quality Gaming Sites

Danish startup Nonoba -- where Flash developers and casual game players come together on the web -- is introducing a new tool called GameRise that makes it possible for anyone to create and run professional-looking game web sites.

Copenhagen, Denmark (PRWEB) March 19, 2009 -- Nonoba - creator of Flash gaming's first Multiplayer and Payment APIs - today introduced GameRise, a new Content Management System that enables anyone from enthusiasts to professionals to develop and manage customized gaming sites with any or all of the great community features Nonoba.com is known for.

GameRise, gives casual game developers and Nonoba's partners customizable gaming sites with full control of the catalog of games, appearance, advertising, and language - up to 26 including Chinese, Hebrew and Indonesian - as well as the ability to manage chat rooms, forum discussions, and mail templates for user feeds about what's happening in the community.

"Think of GameRise as Ning for gaming sites," said Nonoba Co-founder Oliver Pedersen.

How GameRise works
Developers can sign up at http://nonoba.com/developers/gamerise. A site is instantly created and available for editing once approved. From there, the owner can modify their new site however they see fit.

Combined with Nonoba's Game Server, free hosting services, user-friendly Software Development Kits (SDK), and real-time transactions-based API for payment processing, Nonoba GameRise positions the company as a powerful catalyst for innovative Flash game development.

Thirty Flash developers have been testing GameRise since February. Examples of their work can be seen at: http://multiplayer.brezplacne-igre.com, http://5dyouxi.com, http://warez.be/ and http://kloober.com.

Since Nonoba made its global debut less than a year ago the community now has 4,000 games to choose from. And, armed with Nonoba's Multiplayer API, Flash developers are now quickly pumping out some of the industry's most innovative games played by hundreds of thousands of people every day.

Nonoba introduced the Flash development community's first multiplayer API in May 2008 and first payment API in July. Today, games powered by Nonoba's APIs are played on more than 10,000 sites worldwide.

Headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, Nonoba was founded in 2008. The management team is comprised of seasoned executives from Skype, Joost, and Lycos Europe. Nonoba closed a series A round of funding with Mangrove Capital Partners in June 2008.
