The prestigious Jolt Awards, the so called "Oscars" of the software development industry recognize those products that have jolted the industry with their significance and made the task of creating software faster, easier, and more efficient. Winners are selected from hundreds of qualified nominations by an esteemed panel of judges consisting of industry insiders, columnists, and technology leaders.

Winners of the 19th annual Jolt Product Excellence and Productivity Awards were announced last week during the Award Ceremony at the Software Development West 2009 Conference and Expo, held at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif.
