This show is a new concept blend of reality and traditional entertainment shows by the paparazzi giving the street feel. No studio, no newsroom. Real action
Marina Del Rey, CA (PRWEB) March 19, 2009
Splash News, the world's leading celebrity news agency, is unveiling an edgy, gritty, never before seen look at Hollywood told through the eyes of the paparazzi.
Watch as our photographer host hits the streets to get that shot while taking you through the week's top stories.
No flashy studio. No gimmicks. This is real content straight from the streets with at least 17 minutes of celeb-packed content per show for the Twitter generation.
It's unique. This is the first time a working celebrity news agency has made its own TV show.
The modular format of the show will also allow broadcasters to drop in their own host and local segments to make it relevant to local audiences.
Splash will also deliver interactive cross-platform elements so the broadcaster can use the content and establish community around celebrity on the web and mobile.
How do the stars really react to having their photo taken? What do they say to us? How do we know where they are?
Forget TMZ, ET and E! They buy our content to put on their shows. We show you that content as we shoot it.
Splash is to debut the new TV pilot at 2009 MipTv in Cannes, France.
The pilot has stemmed from the success of our unique web and mobile show produced in six languages for clients including; MSN, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and Vodaphone with a monthly audience of more than 25 million streams. That's over 300 million streams a year.
With offices in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, London, Rome and Tokyo, we already provide content to thousands of entertainment outlets around the world - and now it's our turn to do the entertaining.
Splash's 22-minute content-rich entertainment programme will bring you all the very latest news on celebrity from the street. Focusing on the biggest stories about the biggest stars, it's crammed with sensational new content every week.
The hosted show will be presented each week from a paparazzi event, where our host Scott Potasnik will rub shoulders with the snappers waiting for a top celebrity on Rodeo Drive one week or on-set with Angelina Jolie the next.
Meet our team, see how our photographers operate and get a behind the scenes look at how the world of paparazzi works.
We cram the very best, A-list celebrity pictures and videos into our one minute showbiz news packages. These edgy and fast-paced image-led stories are the driving force behind the show.
Packed with evergreen features to enable long term syndication potential such as Splash Fashion from the street. We show viewers how to dress like Hollywood for a lot less than the stars pay.
Biographies - we call them Papographies - take you into the lives of your favourite stars using our massive archive going back 20 years.
And if that's not enough content to suffice a celebrity fix we grab the stars away from their publicists in our Celeb Cam segment where they speak directly to us.
"This show is a new concept blend of reality and traditional entertainment shows by the paparazzi giving the street feel. No studio, no newsroom. Real action," said Gary Morgan, CEO of Splash.
"We've seen the Hollywood shows get great audience figures with our content and seen them grow. Now its our turn.
"The lego brick approach will allow local broadcasters to drop in their own content and even a host if they want. We are totally white-label and the show is intended to be shown on the TV, web and mobile. It's true crossplatform."
Splash will offer functions such as web-based click to buy fashion technology and MMS alerts to drive audiences cross-platform and establish social community around celebrity on your website.
It's more than just a TV show.
