Missouri Council on Economic Education Announces Seminar Series
Not for profit to discuss investing in today's turbulent economic environment
Kansas City, Missouri (PRWEB) March 21, 2009 -- The Missouri Council on Economic Education (MCEE), in conjunction with The ETF Store, announced today that a free seminar on investing will be held March 30th from 7pm to 8pm at the Kansas City Public Library on the Plaza. The event, the first in a series of quarterly seminars on economic education, is titled "Investing in Today's Turbulent Economic Environment". The seminar will present individuals with investment strategies and options to help them reach their long-term investment goals in an uncertain global economy. There will be a presentation on saving and investing by advisors with The ETF Store, followed by a question and answer session with the advisors and Michael English, the President and CEO of the MCEE.
The ETF Store Founder and Chief Executive Officer Joe Massman noted "many people are scared right now and many of those people cannot afford an investment advisor or cannot find an advisor who will work with them because of the size of their portfolios. Our mission as a company is to educate people, and this gives us an opportunity to help non-clients".
