(PRWEB) March 25, 2009
De La Rue, the world's largest commercial security printer and cash sorting company, has announced the launch of its ECM™ Dashboard software at the 2009 International Commercial Cash Operations Seminar (ICCOS) in Chicago, IL, USA. De La Rue Cash Processing Solutions (CPS) will showcase its cash handling solutions aimed at improving productivity in global commercial cash centres. Jamie Cockerell, Head of Customer Development at De La Rue CPS will also be presenting a seminar entitled "Measuring up for success in business today".
ECM™ Dashboard is an easy to use software application that enables shift supervisors to view the cash processing throughput of De La Rue's Cobra family of banknote sorters within the cash centre. This software offers accurate and continual activity rates over the last hour and shift pattern, giving the supervisor continually renewed information on the throughput of each Cobra.
By using ECM™ Dashboard, bulk cash handling organisations can ensure that the hardware, combined with operator methodologies are working to optimum efficiency, thereby delivering a visible return on investment. The consistent feedback gives managers the confidence that the cash centre is working to the highest levels of performance, therefore enabling the cash centre supervisor to focus on alternative supervisory duties, such as work flow management, staff management and transaction authorisations.
Managing Director of the Cash Processing Solutions (CPS) division, Mr Kevin Freeguard said, "Our solutions are helping cash centre customers worldwide improve their productivity. Leading cash handling organisations recognise the need to examine every aspect of their workflow in the quest for greater competitiveness. Customers are demanding faster turnaround times, whilst also expecting the highest standards of accuracy and security to be maintained. ECM™ Dashboard provides the solution to help cash centres deliver just that."
By using ECM™ Dashboard, cash centre managers have immediate access to accurate telemetry, enabling them to maintain and manage the productivity of each Cobra, a mid-speed sorter, within their cash centre. The consistent flow of data assists in keeping the cash centre working to its optimum as any erroneous activity is easily identified and can be rectified before it becomes detrimental to the pre-defined key performance indicators.
Supplying a constant flow of up to the minute data on machine throughput gives shift supervisors a true and accurate understanding of their shift workers productivity. This clarity of information instills peace of mind that shifts are consistently performing to their maximum productivity levels. Providing information, by the hour and by the shift pattern, the ECM™ Dashboard can help foster a competitive spirit between all of the shifts in the cash centres.
De La Rue's Cash Processing Solutions division provides all bulk cash handling organisations with a range of sophisticated hardware and software products, consultation, service and support. All of which are designed to enhance the productivity, performance and security of our customer's cash processing environment. The company's comprehensive range of CPS hardware and software is currently in use by 500 commercial and central bank customers in more than 100 counties.
