A 22-year-old entrepreneur announces CompareChecker.com, a website that allows consumers to easily compare car insurance prices on multiple price comparison sites. Moneysupermarket.com, among others, threatens legal action.

"I think the site appeals to credit-crunch-hit consumers confronted by a never-ending list of comparison sites that neither cover the whole car insurance market nor consistently outperform their competitors -often delivering different prices for the same products," Molajo commented.
He continued, "CompareChecker.com offers faster, easier access to greater choice and value."
The announcement sparked controversy in the industry. Moneysupermarket.com issued warnings that they "reserve the right to commence legal proceedings" and even went as far as claiming that they "reserve the right to report your (CompareChecker.com) actions to the police".
Ade Molajo believes that such a site has not existed previously due to prohibitive computer access and intellectual property laws. Molajo claims that CompareChecker.com does not infringe upon these laws and further commented that "these threats are purely anti-competitive and not in the consumers' best interest".
Molajo, who recently graduated from university, hopes the site will improve his business experience profile and contribute to paying off his student loans.
