The partnership of CommonTime and LogMeIn means mobile workers can be more productive, helping companies save time and money
Woburn, MA, Derby, United Kingdom, Boise, ID (PRWEB) March 24, 2009
CommonTime and LogMeIn have joined forces to provide over-the-air (OTA) remote support to mobile workers with the CommonTime mSuite corporate mobility platform. Under terms of the agreement, CommonTime will resell LogMeIn Rescue+Mobile with its mSuite solution. LogMeIn Rescue+Mobile is a secure, web-based remote support product used by IT and service provider organizations worldwide to provide customer care of smartphones, as well as desktops, laptops and other computing devices.
The partnership provides advanced functionality for remote management of corporate devices from a central location using mSuite. LogMeIn Rescue+Mobile provides a direct connection between a customer's device and the technician's console. The technician can then share control of the device as if it was in his or her own hands, seeing exactly what the customer sees. Organizations using LogMeIn Rescue+Mobile to support smartphones have experienced an increase in customer satisfaction scores, as well as increased first-call resolution and reduced average call handle times.(1) The combined offering supports an extensive enterprise mobile device platform mix that includes Windows Mobile, Blackberry and Symbian.
CommonTime CEO, Ian Knight, comments: "As more organizations deploy business-critical applications beyond e-mail and personal information management (PIM), it becomes crucial for IT teams to be able to immediately resolve any issues that arise, and eliminate downtime for mobile workers. We made the decision to choose over-the-air remote support and went with LogMeIn and their award-winning LogMeIn Rescue+Mobile remote support product. This functionality enhances the complete end-to-end enterprise capabilities of mSuite and we believe will be increasingly valuable to our customers who are deploying mission-critical mobile applications to their field workers."
"The partnership of CommonTime and LogMeIn means mobile workers can be more productive, helping companies save time and money," said Richard Redding, VP & GM, Mobile at LogMeIn. "By combining device management and mobile productivity applications with on-demand remote support, IT service providers can deliver anytime, anywhere support to employees and customers. This eliminates trips to the store or office, and helps ensure mobile workers have access to the information and applications they need."
