Nearing its Five Year Anniversary, Horseshoe Website Adds new Blog

This summer, will celebrate its fifth year anniversary. In an anticipatory move, site founder - Daniel Reeder - launched a new blog dedicated to Western décor. Reeder recently sat down to talk about his business and the merits of owning a custom horseshoe rack.

It's something I've always been fascinated with

Back in August 2004, Daniel Reeder started up, a website that specializes in Western-themed décor and games such as horseshoes and bocce ball. Going through Reeder's web store is not unlike taking a stroll through a high end antique shop.

"The décor from the Western era, it's indicative of a simpler and rustic time. It's probably one of the best visual examples of Americana," Reeder said.

Reeder is a self-made entrepreneur, whose love of Western period décor has prompted him to opening "It's something I've always been fascinated with," he added.

The selection on the website is nothing short of impressive. From vintage lighting, rural table lamps, classic plumbing hardware and fixtures, everything needed to give a home a thematic makeover are conveniently available on a singular website.

Due to the nature of Reeder's business, products featured on the site are also able to be customized to a person's specifications.

"We can custom design horseshoe racks and so much more," Reeder said.

The blog features op-eds about Western décor, as well as the merits of having an Americana themed home and anecdotes about playing horseshoes.

While some people find that purchasing their furniture and décor from big box retailers as good enough, more times than not, the items are cheaply made. Reeder's products are handcrafted, well made and representative of something that is classic. For people who are willing to take the risk and see what Reeder has to offer, he's no more than a few keystrokes away.
