New web store, can customize children's apparel, which is something of a rarity nowadays as new parents are choosing to have brand names emblazoned on their kids' clothing. Site founder, Carol Burnstein, is hoping to change this trend.

For independent business owner, Carol Burnstein, starting her own web based store for children's clothes wasn't a difficult decision. In fact, she looked no further than her own family for inspiration. Launching in February 2009, Burnstein's web venture,, contains a wide selection of toddler and newborn clothes, as well as a variety of youth t-shirts and apparel.

"As a parent and grandparent, I have natural interest and instinct with kids' clothes and I wanted to provide adorable clothing that doesn't have a giant name brand or a cartoon character on the front of it," explained Burnstein.

One of Burnstein's most notable services and products are the personalized items that are available in her catalog, which is essentially everything.

"When my grandchildren were younger, I used to make them bibs with their names and it's something you don't see that often anymore," she said. "I think that the fact I can personalize anything on our site sets us apart that much more."

In addition to having well made toddler clothing and personalized gifts for kids, Burnstein in constantly looking to expand her selection.

"I'm looking into adding furniture like beanbag chairs," she said. "But if people are looking for something specific, they can contact me and I look for them and see if it's something we can carry.

"The one thing that people can be assured of is the quality," Burnstein continued. "I won't lower the quality of our products."

Another unique feature of is the corresponding blog that Burnstein has set up recently.

"I'm going to have tips on the personalization of baby and toddler clothing," Burnstein said of "We'll also have theme posts, such as getting baseball shirts for the upcoming baseball season."

Unlike some of the employees at big box retailers, Carol Burnstein is someone who's had experience outfitting children. She knows how integral quality and prices are to families, and for that, her e-store is invaluable.

"This is not a typical, no-name store," she said. "I will interact with people and make sure that they get what they're looking for. Customer service is very important to me."
