GroutShields Goes International

GroudShields products have been available to US consumers since 1996, but the company has recently branched out globally, due to interest in non-domestic markets.

GroutShields, a do-it-yourself grout sealant, restoration, coloring and cleaning product manufacturer and distributor, has, despite current economic conditions, recently expanded their sales to non-domestic markets.

GroutShields President and Creator Michael Stracuzza has been working in the tile and construction industry for the past twenty years. He spent about five years working with a chemist and testing the product to ensure that his product not only works, but that it is durable, strong and long lasting. Michael is dedicated to bringing his revolutionary product to consumers all over the world and hopes to help people realize the great potential they have to make their old kitchen, bathroom or whatever room with tile it is, look like new. GroutShields products have been manufactured since 1996 and the revolutionary sealant has been sold over the internet for the past two years.

GroutShields technology can make or create any color desired by the consumer. As it is extremely porous, grout absorbs dirt and traps mildew, mold and bacteria. This leads to discolored grout and causes serviceable tile to look old and dirty, as well as being unhealthy to people when regularly exposed to these contaminants. GroutShields sealant seals the grout without the use of harsh chemicals, making it safe for both the homeowner and the environment.

With the recent over-seas expansion and the intent to go global, despite today's global economy, Michael Stracuzza is hoping to encourage GroutShields sealant use as an essential step in the tile laying process throughout the world. Irish distributors have recently committed to distribution throughout Ireland, and companies in both Australia and Canada have expressed interest in following suit. Companies installing tile in the United States are already beginning to incorporate the product in their installations, and with the recent interested that GroutShields has sparked internationally, that hope may not be too far off.
