A comprehensive Distribution Integrity Management Plan (DIMP) Preparation Aid was produced in cooperation with Midwest ENERGY Association (MEA) members by EN Engineering, and has been reviewed throughout development by MEA member company subject-matter-experts. "The MEA DIMP Preparation Aid is designed to assist those companies impacted by this new regulation by providing a roadmap of the regulatory requirements and how to assemble the fundamental elements of a DIMP," says Patrick Van Beek, president of MEA.
The MEA DIMP Preparation Aid covers program requirements in accordance with Subpart P of 49CFR Part 192, including §192.1005(a) and the additional proposed Subpart P requirements. Master Meter and LPG operators can use selected portions of this program aid to fulfill the lesser requirements of proposed §192.1019.
"MEA appreciates the volunteer expertise and knowledge its member companies provided to produce the DIMP Preparation Aid," says Van Beek. MEA's DIMP Preparation Aid is available immediately and provided at no cost to all MEA member companies as a value-added service. Members can access it in the Members Only section on our website. It is also available to non-member companies in our on-line store at http://www.midwestenergy.org for the low cost of $50 per copy.
Upon passage of the Rule into Law, an updated final version of the MEA DIMP Preparation Aid will be released to MEA Members and anyone who has previously purchased the draft. For more information contact Stephanie Menning, vice president gas services (651) 289-9600 x114.
