The Association of Settlement Companies (TASC), the non-profit watchdog organization for self-regulating the debt-settlement industry, today announced Thurbert E. Baker, Attorney General of Georgia, as its keynote speaker for its annual conference April 5-7 in Las Vegas.
Baker, who is slated to present at 9:15 a.m. Monday, will discuss how debt settlement and consumers in the state of Georgia are being affected by the current economy.

A three-term Attorney General, Baker has been Georgia's top prosecutor since 1997. His focuses are fighting crime, corruption and consumer fraud.
