Kansas City Based Jacket Company Announces Two Year Sponsorship Deal with the Royals

DRI DUCK will be the Title Sponsor of the newly created general admission Fountain Seats at "The New K". As part of the Kansas City Royals $250 million stadium renovation, DRI DUCK has formed a partnership with the Royals which will debut on Opening Day April 10, 2009 when they battle the Yankees.

Heads will be turning when every fan who buys a GA ticket will receive a free commerative Opening Day 40th Anniversary cap made by DRI DUCK. And at every game throughout the season, the first 100 fans to purchase DRI DUCK Fountain Seats will add to their collection with a complimentary collectible cap.

The in-stadium presence of DRI DUCK will go beyond the DRI DUCK Fountain Seats Sponsorship with other enticing components to reach the fans. The nationally acclaimed Field Crew, led by Trevor Vance will be donning DRI DUCK apparel of all types throughout the season. From waterproof and windproof outerwear to water and stain resistant polo shirts, the crew will proudly show off a line of apparel that will get fans asking where they can buy this clothing. "We are thrilled to be working with DRI DUCK to outfit our Staff. Their work wear is perfect for our Field Crew who often times is working in extreme weather conditions," said Trevor Vance, Head Groundskeeper for the Royals.

To further build awareness for the DRI DUCK brand of work wear, there will be permanent signage displayed prominently in the Outfield, directly in front of the Fountain Seats. The signage will remain in the stadium for the duration of the partnership. All eyes will be on this new area as fans will be watching not only the action on the field but on the activity adjacent to the DRI DUCK Fountain Seats and the Pepsi Party Porch as well. "To be part of the new Blue Tradition at the Royals is exciting for DRI DUCK. Teaming up with the Club gives us the opportunity to showcase our locally owned Brand and products to a like-minded group of people," stated Scott Tubbs, General Manager of DRI DUCK.

Rounding out the DRI DUCK exposure is a Crown Vision game component- aptly called "Shoot the Duck". Fans will have the chance to win DRI DUCK products as they try their hand and body at playing the custom designed interactive game. And for several games throughout the season, randomly selected fans will be upgraded to Suite level seats and given apparel items as an added bonus. There is no doubt that Royals fans will quickly warm up to locally based DRI DUCK for their work wear and outdoor apparel needs.

Retailers in the community will have access to the full line of DRI DUCK products. As part of the initiative, participating retailers will be given customized fixtures and signage along with promotional giveaways including free caps and apparel, Royals tickets and more. Retailers will have the chance to tap into the equity of DRI DUCK's Royals Sponsorship by promoting their stores through a range of in-stadium opportunities.
