Irvine, CA (PRWEB) March 28, 2009 -- In addition to such popular retirement and second home areas in Mexico such as Cabo San Lucas in Baja California Sur, Puerto Vallarta in Jalisco, and Mazatlan in Sinoloa, MexicoWest.com has now been expanded to feature properties in states on the East Coast of Mexico, such as Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo. These three states form the Yucatan Peninsula. The site also features new home developments in popular areas in the middle of the country such as Lake Chapala in Jalisco and San Miguel de Allende in Guanajuato.
"The site was originally designed to showcase the real estate development going on in Mexico's West Coast, but the more I explored, the more areas I found building properties to accommodate the part time and full time foreign resident." said Gareth Davies of Windem Real Estate a day after returning from his trip into Mexico. Gareth's most recent trip included Nuevo Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Copper Canyon, Loreto, La Paz and Cabo San Lucas.
There are currently 20 different areas of Mexico on the MexicoWest website that may be of interest to the foreign purchaser with plans to add four more areas in the near future. Some of the properties have promotions attached enabling prospective purchasers to visit the properties through a discovery weekend package, giving the prospective purchaser an extremely fair deal on a two to five day informative vacation in Mexico and an opportunity to see new home developments that may be of interest to them.
The country of Mexico is divided into 31 states, with each state having it's own appeal. Mexico has a current population of about 109 million and accommodates over 20 million tourist visitors a year. Some visitors end up deciding to live in the country on a seasonal basis or even choose Mexico as a place to live full time. While purchasing in Mexico isn't for everyone, those that are looking for Mexico Real Estate should find the site quite useful.
Cities like Cancun and Playa del Carmen have a modern feel and offer the Caribbean Sea, whereas a place like San Miguel de Allende or Merida will give you a more colonial experience. A good portion of the properties being built in Lake Chapala and Ajijic offer views of the lake. Spots like Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta have long been a favorite spot of the foreign purchaser whereas places like Loreto, La Paz and Mazatlan are fairly new to the foreign purchaser but are coming along quickly with new marinas and golf courses being added.
San Felipe has an 18 hole golf course and is popular with retirees. There is a development in San Miguel De Allende getting ready to offer assisted living, another on a golf course and another offering condominiums with lock offs. Rosarito Beach has a golf course north of town and Ensenada has two golf courses with plans for a third. Banderas Bay now has three marinas and a wealth of golf courses. Manzanillo has a large development going in above Santiago Bay and a variety of condominiums and new home offerings stretching up through Costalegre. The East Cape between La Paz and San Jose del Cabo also has new marinas and golf courses planned. San Carlos in Sonora has two marinas and an 18 hole golf course.
Properties included on the site are from new home builders in Mexico that so far include companies that are from the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Spain offering homesites, condotels, condominiums, townhomes, detached homes, villas, and some properties do have fractional ownership available. Everything on the MexicoWest website is new development or construction, there is no resale and there are no timeshares on the site. The developments are at various stages of construction.
