Blind since birth, Mike DeZinno has overcome his condition and become a skilled tradesman and business consultant. Now Mike is developing a TV series "Site-Unseen." Season One will show him leading a disabled crew building a Habitat for Humanity Home.

March, 2009 -- Business consultant and skilled craftsman Mike DeZinno is currently in the process of developing what promises to be a truly unique new television experience: "Site-Unseen."

Blind since birth, Mike will be proving how anyone, blind or sighted, can cut, measure, nail, wire, plumb, install, roof, side, frame, screw, glue, and what ever else it takes to get the job done safely, accurately, and against what most people would believe to be insurmountable odds.

Mike will be sharing the hundreds of creative tricks he's invented during his fifty year love affair with tools and his pursuit of personal excellence. It is the ultimate reality show because it has a relevant message, a real mission, and a genuine purpose - all with the simple but powerful underlying theme: It's so easy a blind guy can do it, so why not you?!

Mike's mission for the show can be summed up in a single word: empowerment.

Mike wants all people, disabled or not, to be empowered by showing us how to focus on our greater full potential, rather than our present circumstances. The show will be documenting the accomplishments of his disabled crew, as they solve all the problems that arise as the project progresses.

Season One
A must see for anyone into hard-core reality television! Mike is building a Habitat for Humanity® house with an all-disabled construction crew including disabled soldiers returning from Iraq. The show also features a lineup of celebrity guests from the world of politics, sports, entertainment and business who can be seen working right along side of Mike and his crew of disabled daredevils while they help a deserving Habitat for Humanity® family build their first home.

Season Two
Mike goes back to his roots. Mike was raised by an immigrant single mom who instilled in him his unrelenting can-do attitude. As a tribute to Mike's mother, It is only fitting that Season 2 will be the erection of a post-and-beam log home in the scenic hills of New England, with an all female construction crew.

Mike is currently in discussions with major retailers, tool and equipment manufacturers, and other companies and organizations regarding the production underwriting of the show.

The show will likely be broadcast on a specialty cable television network, but may also be available by webcast through one of the production underwriters' sites.

Mike DeZinno has achieved documented success in industries where most people have failed. Mike was born blind and his first victory came when he fought and won the right to an education. He became the first blind child mainstreamed into the public school system in the U.S. At a time in our society when little was expected of blind people, the schools were ill prepared for a blind but gifted child like Mike.

He also endured (and ultimately overcame) the crushing poverty he encountered being raised in an inner-city housing project by an immigrant, single mom. He is a remarkable individual who has never let his blindness or anything else hold him back. Against all odds, Mike has found a way to overcome it all and achieved greater success than most. He is a modern day renaissance man as well as a gifted teacher with the ability to take very complex concepts and explain them in terms that are easily understood.
