San Diego, CA (PRWEB) March 31, 2009
President Barak Obama has challenged everyone to help build a new future and is on record in support of the National Endowment for the Arts. This year, the jury for the Masterpiece Elite Salon art contest is particularly interested in the Future Vision category and art that represents today's issues from the economy to the environment. There is no question that the visual arts community can evoke ideas, inspiration and action. The Future Vision category in the Elite Salon art contest is open to artistic interpretation, and is so broad that a portrait, seascape or abstract rendering could win but it must be entered in that category to be considered. The artists' work as well as their very participation in this contest, will contribute to the future of our world and the arts.
The 2009 Elite Salon™ is open for artists to enter their works of art to win up to $1000 in Masterpiece® artist canvas and national media exposure. Artists may enter as many times as they wish in the following categories: Abstract, Land & Sea, People & Everyday Life and Future Vision. All entry fees will be donated to the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).
Each category winner will receive $500 in Masterpiece product. The overall winner can be from any category and will win $1000 in Masterpiece Artist canvas.
The entry fee is $10 per artwork. Entry fees will be rebated with proof of purchase receipts of Masterpiece Artist canvas. All entries must be uploaded at http://www.masterpiecearts.com/contest. Rebate forms can be downloaded at the same website. Entries must be media on stretched canvas. The same artwork can be entered in more than one category and artists may enter as many pieces as they wish. There are no size limitations. All entries must be received by May 1, 2009.
