Companies Can Now Use Their SAP Data EXACTLY When, How, and Where They Want--To Better Monitor, Understand, and Drive Their Businesses

iNet.BI has slashed time for our users who want to answers to questions about today's issues without waiting weeks or months for new reports to be developed.

ERP-Link Corp. today announced the availability of the SP2 update to their SAP Certified Reporting Provider, iNet.BI, which now enables organizations to provide wider, on-demand access to all SAP data by users. With hundreds of Microsoft and Microsoft-based analysis and business intelligence tools in use today, the iNet BI service pack update completes the ERP-Link ability to universally provide SAP data to these tools in any form or data management mode.

For the first time in the market, iNet.BI enables SAP data to be provisioned, directly and on demand, without data duplication to Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and within the Microsoft Unified Dimensional Model (UDM).

The SP2 release for iNet.BI incorporates true ROLAP capability into business reporting, making data warehouses an optional component for real-time business analytics. In addition to ROLAP capability, iNet.BI can be used in MOLAP and HOLAP mode, with a simple setting in the iNet.BI setup wizard.

"In times when companies are examining how they monitor, understand, and drive all aspects of their business, iNet.BI SP2 extends the ability for managers and analysts to use their tools of choice while they make decisions based on the latest data," said Eric Anderson, President of ERP-Link Corp. "iNet.BI has slashed time for our users who want to answers to questions about today's issues without waiting weeks or months for new reports to be developed."

iNet.BI is an ERP-Link Universal Provider technology that allows data in SAP systems to be provisioned to all types of subscribing services, applications, systems or clients--with the powerful capability to not duplicate or persist data in intermediate data stores.

Traditionally, extracting SAP data for use in an external system required using special-purpose connectors, adapters, and extract-transform-load (ETL) tools that load portions of an organization's SAP data into downstream databases. As an object-oriented provider, iNet.BI can be utilized universally for all SAP data provisioning from SAP R/3, ECC, and BI/BW systems, instead of maintaining a spaghetti-like mess of specific connector technologies for making SAP data available to Microsoft reporting and presentation layers. In just hours, companies have been able to implement the iNet.BI software to provision data from all SAP modules and directly from SAP BW InfoCubes into any Microsoft platform, including SharePoint Performance Point Services.

"We are pleased to see companies like ERP-Link develop products such as iNet.BI that serve as a cost-effective way for customers to increase their return on investments in their SAP and Microsoft technologies, while extending real-time insights to the people who need them the most--the decision makers within an organization," said Guy Weismantel, director of marketing of Business Intelligence, Microsoft.

The SP2 update release is available immediately and provided at no additional cost to customers who have an ERP-Link software maintenance agreement. For new customers, the iNet.BI software has a starting list price of $14,500.
