Austin, Texas (PRWEB) April 2, 2009 -- Texas Acting and Modeling Academy (TXAMA) student, James Glennon, received the opportunity of a lifetime when asked to appear on Disney's, "The Suite Life on Deck."

On set, Glennon was able to act alongside Dylan Sprouse (Zach Martin), Cole Sprouse (Cody Martin) and Brenda Song (London Tipton). Also, he had the chance to meet and hang out with the Jonas Brothers backstage.

"It was cool being on set and seeing an actually studio," said Glennon. "I would have never imagined having a chance to act and hang with some of the biggest stars of my age. My friends at school are so jealous."

Glennon auditioned at TXAMA for the International Modeling and Talent Association's 2009 L.A. Convention. IMTA is one of the biggest acting and modeling competitions in the world, where the industry's leading agents and scouts find new talent. TXAMA put Glennon through their high-impact program to prepare him for the major competition.

After training for 6 months with TXAMA, Glennon was accompanied by TXAMA staff to IMTA in Los Angeles. At the competition, Glennon was a smashing success and received numerous call-backs from some star agencies. Cindy Glennon, mother of James, said TXAMA gave Glennon an opportunity to see what it was like in the entertainment industry.

"The whole week (IMTA) was quite an experience," says mother Cindy Glennon. "He really got a lot of practice being in front of a camera and by the end of the week he had 10 agents that were
interested in him."

Glennon was introduced to Marty Weiss, agent at Marty Weiss Management. They hit it off and by the end of the trip Glennon was signed with Weiss. Today, Glennon has had the opportunity to meet and work next to some of today's most successful kid actors.

"I knew Glennon would have no problem finding representation at IMTA," says Brown. "He worked really hard throughout our program and I am happy to see him succeed.
