The mall type-store seemed appealing to us

When it comes to shopping online, it can be a daunting task for many people. There are very few internet stores that aren't specialized shops that offer a bit of everything to make the e-shopping experience an easy one. Luckily, Ken and Toni Menard have a store that offer much more than the average website.
The Menard's web store, http://www.VerietyShopping2U.com, is a virtual mall that they launched back in November 2008. With a variety of products ranging from ruby earrings to down alternative comforters, people can find the various things that they need for themselves, or their homes, in one website.
"The mall type-store seemed appealing to us," said Ken.
"There are a lot of stores that have a specific niche and for us, this is the niche," added Toni.
Ken and Toni are able to bring the experience and ease of walking into an actual mall by having such a diverse selection of products for sale.
"There's been a lot of work into getting the website running the way it is," said Ken. "But we wanted to make something that was simple. To log onto our site and buy a laptop backpack or a 32" LCD TV doesn't require going to different sites; just on one."
Even with a large catalog, the Menards are already planning on expanding their current selection to include recreational sports such as fishing.
"We're still sorting out what we're going to put up," said Toni. "I have been putting up new products so it's not always the same thing when people come to our site."
In addition to having an evolving catalog, Ken and Toni started http://www.VerietyShopp2UInfo.com, a blog that contains reviews of new chic products and tips on purchasing gifts for other people.
As the internet becomes more accessible to a larger audience, VerietyShoppinig2U.com will no doubt become an important website itself as one of the few online resources to get an entire day's worth of shopping in one URL.
