On Thursday, April 2, 2009 Montclair State University (MSU) will recognize A.J. Khubani, president and CEO of TeleBrands corp. as a Carpe Diem honoree at the university's annual scholarship dinner.

On Thursday, April 2, 2009 Montclair State University (MSU) will recognize A.J. Khubani, president and CEO of TeleBrands corp. as a Carpe Diem honoree at the university's annual scholarship dinner. At this event, MSU recognizes alumni and friends who have established distinguished careers and demonstrated outstanding professional and personal achievements.

Khubani founded TeleBrands, headquartered in Fairfield, New Jersey, while attending Montclair State University. The start-up pioneered the "As Seen on TV" retail category by selling products through direct response television (DRTV) using infomercials. Today, Khubani's products are sold internationally on TV, online and in leading retailers.
