The Perfect Pitches have been given and two companies each walked away with a $250,000 advertising package grand slam. Our two grand prize winners are:
Business-to-Business category: Local Shopper http://www.localshops1.com
Business-to-Consumer category: The Children's Home http://www.childrenshome.org
Here is what the winners had to say:
"We are absolutely thrilled at this amazing opportunity to let the world know about LocalShops1.com. We know this will help not only us, but all the awesome independent businesses in the Tampa Bay area. It's all about supporting each other to get us through the recession and thriving in the future. Thanks to Malcolm Out Loud for organizing this, and to all the sponsors! We are so very grateful."
- Ester Venouziou, Founder, Local Shopper/LocalShops1.com
"We are so honored to have won The Perfect Pitch - the $250,000 award means more than the ability to generate needed revenue during these difficult economic times, it means getting the word out about the children in our care who need forever families to adopt them before their childhood passes them by!"
- Cathy Stone, Chief Development Officer, The Children's Home
The grand prize packages include advertising from the following companies: WFLA News Channel 8, NewsTalk 820AM, the Tampa Tribune, Tampa Bay Business Journal, Tampa Bay Magazine, 1040AM ESPN Tampa Bay and TBO.com. This also includes an advertising campaign developed by creative agency Teasdale Worldwide.
The Top 10 finalists at the Perfect Pitch were given four minutes to give their best sales pitch for the chance to win one of the $250,000 advertising grand prize packages. The concept for this event is one of kind and has never been done before. The mastermind behind producing the event was Malcolm Out Loud Productions and Malcolm Teasdale who also hosted the event.
The other finalists competing at the event were: Smart Talk, Info-lution, Visionary Medical Systems and Brainstorm Weekly, Big Cat Rescue, Solar Source and Watercross International.
The event was a great success for the community with hundreds in attendance to watch the finalist give their Perfect Pitch. The event would not have been possible without the support of its sponsors: Fifth Third Bank, Teasdale Worldwide and Humana.
