In October 2008, a small team of astronauts and cosmonauts stepped aboard the Soyuz TMA-13 Spacecraft, and flew to the International Space Station. One of QuantumDigital's customers carried with them a series of postcards, printed and personalized by QuantumDigital, that would be the first direct mail campaign conducted from space.

One of QuantumDigital's customers carried with them a series of postcards, printed and personalized by QuantumDigital, that would be the first direct mail campaign conducted from space.

The customer's audience was a small group of personal contacts, alerting them to the spaceflight and successful mission aboard Soyouz TMA-13. The postcards completed more than 170 orbits at a speed of 17,000 mph, then returned safely to Earth where they were distributed to their final recipients.
