ES Careers is developing an iPhone app that let's job seekers stay in real time touch with the job market.

The current national unemployment rate is just under 10 percent

ES Careers announced on their website today that the company would execute a plan that would reduce the unemployment rate to below three percent in the next decade. "The current national unemployment rate is just under 10 percent," states ES Careers CEO Tim Martin. "We have to focus on applications which directly affect the GNP and that means putting people to work faster."

"While the job market seems to be showing signs of improvement from what we can see, we still have a long road ahead of us." Martin has been an advocate for employing those seeking jobs and has always been an evangelist for change. "What we have is a very large database and a mountain of qualified applicants seeking to connect with prospective employers." said Martin. "We are looking for ways to take job hunting to wireless hand held devices to shorten the job hunting process."

"Wouldn't it be great if you could walk into a mall and your iPhone would send you an alert every time someone walked by that was interested in you at some level? Or better yet, if your iPhone job hunting application had a hot/cold feature that knew your preferences and the preferences of a potential job opportunity as you walked by it?"

This technology will cause a huge paradigm shift in the way people find employment. The echo boomers will still go door to door to find a new career and our technology will alert people as they near opportunities that were invisible before.

The company's web site escareers.com has experienced rapid growth over the last year and Martin expects the traffic level will exceed a million page views a month by mid 2009. "We are so pleased to see job seekers connecting with prospective employers on our website."

With so many people seeking to reinvent the wheel, our hope is that ES Careers technology will provide another channel for those seeking employment. It is apparent to Mr. Martin that the investment in this technology is an investment in our country's future.
